MONOTONY
-MONOTONY IS THE RESULT OF OUR UNHAPPINESS
AND FATIGUE WITH WHAT ONE IS DOING DAILY IN ROUTINE
IN THE SAME ENVIRONMENTS AND WITH THE SAME PEOPLE.
-MONOTONY RESULTS IN HATE, HATRED OF THE PRESENT
ENGAGEMENT, RESULTING IN NEGLECT, LOSS OF ZEAL,
LOSS OF ENJOYMENT AND HAPPINESS.
-CONSEQUENCES:
-POSSIBLY DOWNGRADES ONE’S CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES.
-GETS DEPRESSED
-WASTES TIME
-DEVELOPS THE HABIT TO TALK ILL OF THE JOB
-REMAINS WORRIED AND AS SUCH ONE’S HEALTH IS
AFFECTED
-RETURNS HOME UNHAPPY, RESULTING IN UNHAPINESS,
ANGUISH, SEARCHING REASONS TO GET ANNOYED AND/OR
ENGAGE INTO CONFLICT ETC.
-COULD BE REBUKED AND SHUNTED OUT FROM THE JOB
-THEN WHAT IS THE ANSWER
-1 .MONOTONY HAPPENS NOT THAT IT IS A ROUTINE
BUT LEAVES ENOUGH TIME WITH ONE TO IDLE AWAY
2 INSTEAD OF IDLING AWAY THE TIME, ONE TAKES UP
THE JOB OF HIS/HER COLLEAGUES WHICH WILL HELP HIM/HER
TO INCREASE HIS/HER KNOWLEDGE, POSSIBLY WILL BE BETTER
LIKED, PROMOTED AND AS SUCH WILL BE GETTING HIGHER JOB
WHICH WILL BREAK HIS/HER MONOTONY
-3. USES SPARE TIME TO STUDY, INCREASE HIS/HER KNOWLEDGE
AND SEEKS SOME JOB OUTSIDE OF HIS/HER CHOICE.
4. ENGAGES IN SOME PART TIME JOB OF HIS/HER LIKING
5. DEPENDING ON ONE’S JOB, ONE CAN BE AWAY FROM
HIS/HER SEAT AND GETS TO GYM, IF SUCH A FACILITY IS
PROVIDED BY THE ORGANISATION, AND IF NOT, GETS
OUT TO STROLL ABOUT, TAKE SOME FRESH AIR, ENGAGES
IN TALK WITH SOME PERSONS OUTSIDE, PICKS UP MUSIC
THROUGH ONE’S MOBILE AND STROLLS ABOUT.
AS SUCH, THESE OR MORE ALTERNATIVES WILL ENABLE
HIM/HER TO RELAX AND PASS OFF HIS/HER SPARE TIME.
6, MONORONY CAN BE PERCEPTION ALSO, ONE DOESN’T
LIKE ONE’S JOB OR ENVIRONMENTS AND AS INVENTS
AND TAKES EXCUSE IN MONOTONY, WHILE THE FACT
THAT HE/SHE IS NOT INTERESTED IN THE WORK ONE IS
ALLOCATED AND/OR DOING.
Conclusion: as routine creates monotony, it is essential to
1. get over monotony, one uses the spare time to increase one’s
income and/or increase one’s knowledge and experience
in order to seek some better of one’s life inside the organization
and/or outside as well.
2. be conscious that monotony will affect one’s health and behaviour
3. believe in upgrading one’s knowledge and skills, it is only by this
thinking, belief and action, one could get better job and as such
get rid of one’s monotony.
