DOWRY - my note is quite exhaustive to mitigate if not eliminate the curse of dowry. It is ritual in certain communities and in some it remains in expectations. MICRO UNIT , GIRLS WORKING AND AWARENESS OF PARENTS ESPECIALLY MOTHERS-IN-LAW THAT THEY NEED MORE THEIR CHILDREN AND DAUGHTERS IN-LAW EQUALLY IF NOT MORE WHILE ENLIGHTENED MOTHERS IN-LAW CARE MORE FOR THE DAUGHTERS IN-LAW IN FULL REALISATION THAT SHE IS THE ULTIMATE OWNER AND BUILDER OF THE HOUSE AND THAT THEIR SONS SHALL MOSTLY GET NOT ONLY INFLUENCED BUT ALSO MOULDED BY THEIR WIVES, HENCE IT IS WISER TO GET ALONG WITH DAUGHTERS IN-LAWS WELL IN ALL MANNERS -dowry as such has no significance as it is not to come to them and if given shall remain with their son and daughter, then why there is any need to suggest or claim for dowry overtly or in expectations. tks
